County Schools Projects

As part of our County Schools Project, two artist facilitators each deliver a project within two county Galway schools that draw on the festival theme. The project brief is designed by the Education Coordinator and artist facilitators are selected based on their ability to respond to this brief as well as their experience in education and working with young people. The project provides for one school visit to the festival and in-school contact time with a professional artist. This timetable is designed to meet the needs of the school and all workshops are age appropriate and designed to complement the existing curriculum. The project is kindly funded through the Arts Office of Galway County Council.
