Vukasin Nedeljkovic

Vukašin Nedeljković is an artist based in Ireland. He initiated a multidisciplinary project, Asylum Archive, to collaborate with asylum seekers, artists, academics, civil society activists and immigration lawyers, amongst others, with a view to creating an interactive documentary cross-platform online resource, critically foregrounding accounts of exile, displacement, trauma and memory. Asylum Archive was initiated when Nedeljković was living in a Direct Provision Centre, awaiting the results of his asylum application. He holds an MA in Visual Arts Practice from IADT, and is currently a PhD candidate at the Technological University Dublin. His solo exhibitions include Earagail Arts Festival, Letterkenny (2020); Triskel Arts Centre, Cork (2019); Garter Lane, Waterford (2017) and Galway Arts Centre (2015). In 2017 was awarded the 2017 Arts Council Artist in the Community scheme Bursary: Art and Activism.
